If you're really looking for a Gilmour "Solo" tone though (depending on era) as mentioned above, a Big Muff of some sort or a Fuzz Face style pedal would be more of what you are looking for. I never a/b'd the 2, but I did have a Keeley modded one which has a little more bass on them which might get you closer to what you are looking for. A Boss Blues Driver would also probably get you in that ballpark as well. I dialed them both with around the same gain and they were both very similar to my ears as far as the amount of gain and tonal characteristics, however the Tube Driver does have as mentioned a little more bass response.
